Behind this formation are three musicians who met and found each other on their journey through the world of jazz. Cologne guitarist Rolf Marx shines with musical and technical versatility, is an excellent rhythm player and brilliant soloist. The sought-after and internationally successful bassist Jos Machtel comes from Zwaag, Netherlands, and unfolds an astonishingly agile and sensitively sung melody on his instrument. And then there is the voice of Shaunette Hildabrand, the US vocalist who lives in Belgium: clear, beguiling, with enormous depth of sound and an unmistakable, personal touch. You can expect a harmonious listening experience at a high stylistic level; melodious, captivating, sometimes gentle, but always enjoyable.
