Energy

We use 100% green electricity, which comes from Swiss and European hydropower. We are able to cover part of the energy required for hot water and heating via heat recovery. Together with the Energy Agency for Industry, we have set ourselves targets to increase energy efficiency and reduce emissions.

Cleaning

When it comes to cleaning agents and detergents, we rely on the ecological Maya line from Steinfels, which is produced and distributed in Winterthur.

Partnership with water for water

Drinking water is valuable and hundreds of millions of people cannot take it for granted. Together with the non-profit organisation WASSER FÜR WASSER (WfW), we promote the value of clean water and use this attitude to raise awareness among our guests. With a regular partnership contribution, we support the work of WfW in Mozambique, Zambia and Switzerland and thus strengthen water and sanitation supplies as well as education around the resource of water.
